Those Who Look, Find

I see a goddess in the silver anklet,
I hear music.
Impatiens psittacina, Parrot Flower,
discovered in the Shaw State of Burma, 1889
I saw a man in the rocks,
you laughed!
But you saw lovers kissing,
I only saw the moon.

And you, crying, waiting
for a sign you find,
when you break the rind
of an egg.

Parrot flowers,
and eggs yolked in two,
Keep searching.

The answer is kind,
those who look, find.

I love reading your words, seeing how you think, what weaves into your world.

You are the goddess.
You are the music.
You are the flowers.

I love this poem, Shaista, and the ending, with its hopefulness and gentle optimism. It is stirring to feel those emotions here. To find unexpected patterns and beauty in the world and bird flowers around us, in the yolks of the eggs we crack open before us, the just desserts of the looker ...

You are a sweet mystery, dear one. What would you find in tea leaves at the bottom of a teacup? Even in the darkest leaves you find hope, beauty, love. No wonder that here I find goddess, moon, and kind answers when I look for answers to your questions.

I find a lot of magic in your words. So those who look do, indeed, find.

Those who seek, really do find. Lovely thoughts. I love when I crack an egg with a double yolk.
